Ojas Building Rice Pudding


8 small portions

Equipment Needed

1 small/medium pot

Rubber spatula


• 1-cup Basmati rice

• 2-cups almond milk

• 2-cups coconut milk

• ¼ maple syrup

2. Place all ingredients in a pot.

* ¼ cup diced dates

* ¼ cup smashed almonds

* 1-teaspoon salt


1. Cut candied ginger into 1/8” dice or shreds.

2. Place all ingredients in pot.

2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, and cover.

4. Simmer for about 8-10 minutes, test the rice doneness, and when rice is just tender, remove from heat, keep covered, it will finish cooking in the pot.

5. Serve warm or chill before eating.
