Ayurveda - Yoga - Rejuvenation

 

Can you imagine the perfect retreat where you can balance your body, mind, and spirit in a beautiful resort facing the Arabian Sea in India?  If so, please join me in 2024 for my Panchakarma (Ayurvedic Rejuvenation) and Yoga retreat at the Manaltheeram Ayurvedic Beach Resort in Kerala, India.

Manaltheeram Ayurvedic Beach Resort (www.manaltheeram.com)  is the most highly recognized Ayurvedic center in Kerala, located on a private compound with beautiful accommodations, organic vegetarian food, and filtered water on the property.

On arrival, you meet your Ayurvedic doctor, who designs your health program and oversees two therapists who administer two hours of body therapies daily.  This doctor is your daily contact overseeing your program, but I am also aware of your concerns and program and available for all your needs.

​

I teach daily yoga, pranayama, and meditation classes based on each person’s therapeutic needs with Ayuryoga and Iyengar rejuvenative and restorative principles.  The remainder of your day is for personal time, resting, walks along the coast, sunbathing, and possibly shopping or sightseeing in Kerala, and in the evenings, the resort offers Indian dance and musical programs at dinner time.

 

All accommodations have tile floors, screened windows, ceiling fans, Western bathrooms, Wi-Fi service, electronic safes, daily maid service, room service if needed, and hammocks right outside your door.

The resort restaurant faces the ocean, and once you know your doctor's health program and prescription, you can have your medicinal meals prepared by the kitchen, or you can choose from a vast selection of foods labeled for which dosha they are best. Very cool.

The Daily Schedule:

7:30-9am: Meditation & Pranayama Class

9 am-3 pm: Therapies, Meals, and Free Time

3:00-5:00 pm: Asana Class & Yogic Talks

6-9 pm: Dinner, Entertainment Programs
