Herbal formulas are tailored to meet individual constitutional needs, address specific health concerns, and achieve particular goals using capsules, teas, powder churnas, tinctures, medicated ghee, and jams. 

 

These formulas target the body's systems, including the circulatory, respiratory, lymphatic, integumentary, endocrine, digestive, urinary, musculoskeletal, nervous, immune, and reproductive systems. They address a variety of conditions, including respiratory issues, glandular imbalances, allergies, arthritis, cholesterol management, detoxification, high blood pressure, immune support, blood sugar regulation, reproductive health for both women and men, and mental health.

External Use

All oils are handmade and available for Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, as well as combinations tailored to individual constitutions and goals.  Additionally, I formulate specific oils for hair health and loss, pain relief, sleep aid, and ear oil, and can create specialty oils as needed.

Ghee

Ghee is used in cooking and also as an “anupana,” which can serve as a base to deliver medicines to the body's systems. The medicinal ghees I make and stock include: Triphala, brahmi, turmeric, ashwagandha, and Tikta Ghrita (for cleansing).

Aromatherapy

Essential oils are potent medicinal compounds that can be blended into formulas targeting specific health concerns and needs. They are used in diffusers, mister bottles, and can be incorporated into medicated oils for external use on the body.  Favorite blends include those for dosha and seasonal balancing, as well as focus and clarity, calming, respiratory support, and headache relief.

Tinctures- Herbal Tonics (Glycerin-Based/Non-Alcoholic) 

Herbal extracts are differentiated by the solvent used for extraction (alcohol or glycerides).  I only use non-alcoholic glycerides, which are infusions that take a month to produce.  I can formulate any special requests, but I stock adaptogenic, digestive, balanced mind, super immunity booster, women's hormonal balance, cold and flu, headache relief, allergy elixir, cholesterol buster, heart tonic, and calm and tranquil.
