Namaste is usually spoken with a slight bow, hands pressed together, palms touching, fingers pointing upwards, and thumbs close to the chest. It means, "I bow to the divine in you."

Anjali Mudra
(ON-jol-ly MOO-drah)
Anjali = a gesture of reverence, benediction, salutation (From anj, "to honor, celebrate")
Mudra = seal (The gesture "seals" energy in the body and "seals" your relationship with the Divine.)
