Three Seed Tea

Coriander - Cumin - Fennel

This unique tea, known for its energetic cooling properties rather than its temperature, is beneficial for all constitutional types, particularly when consumed after meals. It's a blend of Cumin, Coriander, and Fennel seeds, each of which has a soothing effect on the digestive and urinary systems.


Cumin Seed

Cumin treats digestive weaknesses, gas, bloating, colic, and headaches. It acts as a healthy appetizer and digestive and cleans the blood.

Pungent, Bitter/Cooling/Pungent    VPK=

Carminative, Alterative, Digestive Stimulant & Diuretic


Coriander Seed

It is a good remedy for many Pitta digestive and urinary digestive disorders. It increases digestion and absorption and is good for diarrhea and dysentery.

Fennel Seed

Fennel is excellent for the digestive and urinary systems. It increases Agni (digestive fire), stops cramping gas, and calms the nerves, promoting mental awareness.

Sweet, Pungent/Cooling/Sweet     VPK=

Carminative, Diuretic, Expectorant, Antispasmodic


Directions: Mix equal amounts of these three seeds. To use scoop two teaspoons of seeds per cup. Add hot water and allow to steep for 5 minutes before straining and drinking. An easy way to make this tea is to mix a batch of the seeds, store them in a jar, and use a mesh tea ball for the seeds when you want to make a cup.
