Coriander

Coriander and Cilantro (Coriandrum sativum) are the same herbal plant native to mediterranen. Cilantro has a fragrant and citrusy taste and aroma, while coriander is warmer with a nutty taste and aroma.

It is effective against bacteria such as E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. It is used to reduce inflammation in conditions like arthritis. It balances pitta (heat), acting as a cooling agent for the skin and a digestive stimulant. It calms "looping" thoughts and provides emotional stability, helping to soothe the nervous system.
