Dinacharya

Dinacharya is defined as daily routines and practices. Nearly everywhere we look in nature, creatures engage in a consistent daily routine, and nature's rhythms deeply influence the world: the sun's rising and setting, the seasons' cycles, and the natural energies directing the broader community of life.

While there are some seasonal variations, but most plants and animals have a predictable daily and seasonal rhythm. However, humans have gotten away from this and are used to modern life, where energy and connectedness are available 24 hours a day.

The increasingly erratic nature of modern life is taxing, and its stresses can cause a chronic state of high alertness. It is no wonder that so many are hyper-vigilant and unable to relax.

In Ayurveda, the importance of a consistent daily routine can’t be underestimated. It helps establish balance, regulates the biological clock, aids digestion, absorption, and assimilation, and brings a sense of calm and well-being. It allows the body, mind, and spirit to ground, cleanse, and start anew.

Ayurveda implements daily practices including sleep regulation, diet, herbal assistance, cleansing along with exercise, yoga, mediation, the use of oils and body working, etc. The list goes on and on and depends of each person needs and are established during an evaluation by a practitioner.

Please let me know if you would like to schedule a complimentary phone converstation to learn more about the process and benefits, and I hope to speak with you soon.
